Crystal tied the knot in February, so I can finally share some gorgeous shots from her bridals. We headed over to her wedding venue- Preston Wood Country Club and it was absolutely incredible. Her bridals were so relaxed, comfortable and we laughed so much! Her sweet mama joined us and helped Crystal get ready. That’s something I encourage my brides to do- invite mom, sister, grandma or another wonderful lady in your life to join you for your bridals.
When you have your mom with you, by your side, this takes so much pressure off. She’s there to make sure your dress alterations are perfect, your jewelry is on straight, and even helps you put your shoes on. She gets to see her little girl in a gorgeous gown for the day that you’ve both been thinking of for years.
I also can’t say enough good things about Preston Wood. They are seriously lovely! The country club itself is incredible with ornate details literally everywhere. Outside is gorgeous as well. We definitely snuck right beside the golf green to capture just a few portraits. We tried our best not to interrupt carefully concentrating golfers or get hit by a rouge golf ball. We succeeded in those things and avoided any major crisis, other than Crystal’s shoes aerating the grass a tiny bit.
(Total side tip) If on your wedding day you want some images out in the gorgeous green rolling pastures but you love your impeccable white heels, they make plastic heel protectors for your shoes! This keeps your heels from sinking in the grass. Seriously the smartest invention ever. I saw these the year I got married at David’s Bridal.
I’m so thankful for Crystal and her sweet family, and I was so blessed to be able to capture her and Jason’s journey through the engaged life to Mr. and Mrs.
