I absolutely love finding new locations to hold sessions at. I drive past this part of the lake frequently, and I knew I could not wait to have a Jordan Lake session here! Lauren and Jeremiah joined me for a grand adventure that involved a bit of muck and mud. This area is normally a lot dryer. But, after all that snow we had it was a bit mucky. These two trekked through this slop and sludge to walk out to the most gorgeous once sunken road. This road rises out of the lake when the water levels drop.
Lauren and Jeremiah have known each other their entire lives. It was on a missions trip that they realized there might be something more to their friendship. These two are the sweetest and we had so much in common! I knew when they laughed at my lame jokes that we were going to be great friends during our session. The two of them knew my lame song about seagulls. The one by the Bad Lip Readers on Youtube. And, for their session there were just a few seagulls flying above.
Every single time I visit this area, it has the absolute most breath taking sunsets imaginable. This night was just the same and we were able to witness amazing hues of pinks, purples and yellows in the sky. The lake acted as a perfect mirror for the sky. It honestly seemed like we were shooting on the edge of the world. I’m so thankful that Lauren and Jeremiah joined me and walked on a little piece of heaven for this Jordan Lake session.
