Southern women are tied together with tradition, monograms and class. The moment I met Paige, I knew that she was my type of southern gal. She began telling me the details of her and Jared’s wedding day. They had booked Lockamy Plantation in Angier, NC for their perfect southern fairy tale. For her bridal portraits, Paige reserved their venue, and the day was absolutely perfect for a southern farmhouse bridal session.
I always love when brides opt to have bridal portraits. These sweet moments of a bride in her gown before she walks down the isle are priceless heirloom memories. I always encourage mom, sisters and grandmothers to join us for the portraits. It creates beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Paige’s wonderful mom and maid of honor, Kayla, joined her for the session at Lockamy, and helped out with the little details as well as moved some furniture into a field! There’s nothing more faithfully southern than a gorgeous bride in her wedding gown lounging on a Victorian style chair in the middle of a field.
Lockamy Plantation is the absolute dreamiest of plantation homes. From a gorgeous blue porch ceiling to white interior walls and the prettiest of sunsets– you can guess how excited I was for Paige and Jared to tie the knot here. Just take a minute, and when you scroll through these Paige’s bridal photographs, imagine yourself front porch swinging with a glass of lemonade and a cool summer breeze. And while you’re at it, take a step outside and breathe some fresh air today. Thank you for being the dreamiest bride, Paige!
