What could be more romantic than a North Carolina mountain top proposal? Probably nothing in this world, except Logan and Austen’s entire love story. Logan has been a sweet friend of mine for a few years. She was a former senior of mine, and we kept in touch and worked on different modeling projects together. When I met Austen, I knew they were the absolute real deal. He was sweet, charming, and most importantly — all Logan talked about.
Let’s get to how they met, fell in love and THIS incredible North Carolina mountain top proposal. So, these two met at a college weekend and immediately built a friendship. Their love story lead them to a missions trip to Guatemala where Austin asked Logan to be his girlfriend underneath a spectacular waterfall. (Because, honestly.) From that romantic moment they became inseparable. For an anniversary gift, he planned an evening under the stars in the backyard full of globe string lights, a sweetheart table, and food for two. He gifted her a rose gold promise ring. So, what’s a guy to do for the BIG proposal? Contact a photographer and start the planning.
When Austen messaged me, I was immediately in and knew this would be one of the best days for the two of them. He wanted a spectacular view– and holy moly, did he choose the perfect spot. Pilot Mountain is a two hour drive from Raleigh, so the trick was how to get Logan to take a trip with him– and her not suspect a thing. Que the photographer. I messaged sweet Logan and asked if her and her guy would be up for a “stylized shoot.” Since she had modeled for me in the past, it was a no brainer and she said “of course!”
But, here’s where it gets funny. Austen decided to throw Logan off and tell her he might have to work on their scheduled shoot day. Uh-oh. So, what does Logan do? Message me to reschedule for the following day! We definitely laughed about that, once the big surprise was revealed.
