When Ashton first reached out about booking her bridal session, I knew she was a beautiful soul. She was in the midst of post-surgery and was still excited about planning this bridal session. She told me about her gorgeous illusion lace gown and the farmhouse venue– Lockamy Plantation. Her dress and the venue were a dream come true for a southern bride to be. This sun-soaked farmhouse bridal session is hands down a favorite.
A few weeks before her big day, we headed out to the farmhouse venue to soak up some amazing sunlight! It was the end of September and beginning of fall. The fall weather was absolutely nowhere to be found. It was hot. And I mean, HOT. 90 degree North Carolina weather was there for us. But, Ashton had zero things to worry about. This gal had the biggest bridal party entourage I’d ever seen. We’re talking bridesmaids, cousins, aunts, grandmas– the whole party was there to help and soak up memories in the making. They were super prepared with a cordless fan, blankets for her dress, towels to dab sweat, water bottles. These ladies would be the best to hire for any wedding day team, no doubt.
It was the sweetest session full of laughter, love and some sun-soaked dress twirls. Exactly what a bridal session should be made of. I know you’ll love Ashton’s gorgeous sun-soaked farmhouse session as much as I do.
