Take me back to warm summer nights and the sounds of crickets chirping. My heart seriously is longing for another romantic museum anniversary session! There is something so, so breathtaking about warm summer nights and the golden sun light that filters through full, green leaves. The color of the grass is a vibrant green that is full of life.

The North Carolina Art Museum is one of my favorite Raleigh locations for sessions. There are so many options and variety of view packed in this one vibrant area of Raleigh. From the art installations to stone colored buildings and water features, it is always one I recommend to my couples who are trying to decide on a good location in the Piedmont area.

Laney and Trent have been together for five years, and they were SO sweet and so much fun to spend time with. Laney and I could have chatted for hours. She’s also a photographer in the area and being able to pass knowledge back and forth was definitely fun during our time together!

One of my go to photos to capture during couple sessions is some sweet slow dancing. I always joke with my couple, and show them exactly how I want them to pretend to dance and sway back and forth. It makes for the dreamiest of photos. Laney’s gorgeous dress was the perfect fit for the flowy dance photos.

I’m so happy I got to know these two love birds for their anniversary session and spend a gorgeous North Carolina afternoon with them at the NC Art Museum. You can absolutely bet that I’m currently counting down these February days until summer is here to stay. Thank you for being the sweetest couple, Laney and Trent!
