This butterfly inspired wedding has been one of my favorite experiences of this summer. These gorgeous pallet of summertime hues and the warm tones of butterfly wings has me over the edge in love! Jerrye Gordon Events planned this beautiful day at Bluebird Meadows Farm– one of my favorite intimate venues in Louisburg, North Carolina– just 30 minutes from Raleigh. Anna and Brad were the absolute sweetest! And, they were beyond incredible because it rained pretty much the entire time. You’d never know it through all the snuggles, but it was heavy misting in all of the photos below.
The rain throughout this day is complete proof that even a rainy wedding day can still be perfect! It’s so important to book a photographer who has had experience with soaking days. Although we’d all love for constant sunshine on everyone’s big day it unfortunately is about a 50% shot. Talk with your photographer about a rain back up plan that way there won’t be any wedding day surprises or disappointments.
