I'm Ashlynn. I'm a follower of Christ, wife and mama. I'm an avid gardener and love the color and beauty it brings to my corner of the world. My favorite places to visit are Charleston and Hilton Head Island where the sea breeze and Spanish moss are always sure to greet you.

It's my mission to provide peace filled and luxury wedding photography to those who seek heirloom memories to last generations, so they can feel stress free and fully present on their wedding day.

I loved peace filled moments and wholesome memories.

The most common thing I hear from married couples is they didn't have enough quiet moments on their day. They'll tell you it flew by so quickly that they don't remember the details, There's a science behind how memories are made...

Peace filled days are essential to beautiful memories

When your body is stressed, your mind has difficulty forming short term memories, and in turn cannot create long term memories. Even if it's your most important day ever.

Peace filled days are essential to beautiful memories

I work with brides who want relaxed wedding days, and show them how to create moments of peace throughout their day. Peace ensures beautiful memories are made.

I'm here to help you create memories that last

My husband and little one and entire family are the most important to me. I love their warm hugs and smiles.

I adore when brides incorporate gorgeous details and stationary into their wedding day. I believe the small details tell stronger stories.

My favorite city. History, colors, salty air and a slower pace. Charleston is truly its very own, and it has my heart.

A Few of my Favorite Things

Life is an  endless combination of stories. Every day stories that we piece together to create a book. A book full of chapters, each chapter a highlight in life. As I flow through the stories of my own book, I know I am meant to capture chapters in others books as well.

I capture Notebook worthy moments in your own story. Yes-- that Notebook. I have a love for that dear novel by Nicholas Sparks. My own love story is intertwined with the book, as my husband and I got married at Boone Hall (Allie's summer home.) It's a story full of romance and peaceful yet passionate moments woven among the chaos and uncertainty of life.

I want those in front of my lens to fully embrace the moments their living and relax. To take a deep breath. Soak up the sunshine, the smell of the jasmine rolling in the breeze, and the look of love on their best person's face. To commit to memory their special day. To take it slower in a world full of crazy achievements and hustling harder. To just stop those moments and do what is best for their heart.

I help brides with a customized timeline for their wedding days and give suggestions on how to eliminate the stress and clip the unnecessary things out of their wedding day. I encourage brides to forgo the traditional hub-bub and instead embrace what is true and honest to them as a couple.

Some of my favorite wedding days have been ones where the couple rents a house for their family and has an intimate yet stunning gathering for their closest family and friends. They take the time to go paddle boarding in the morning, have a cooked breakfast and then get ready for their intimate ceremony. They then soak up all the sunshine and aren't rushed through portrait time. They enjoy a candlelit evening filled with dancing and campfire with s'mores.

I so deeply want to give a peaceful experience to everyone in front of my lens. Happy memories, leaving the stress and weight of tomorrow's to do list behind. For these are the chapters and pages of our lives. Fleeting and only capable of being grasped onto by memories and photographs.

It all started with a camera, and a passion for storytelling.
