My sweet friend Emily had been dreaming of a family sailboat session for so long. She wanted to capture some special moments with her two sweet boys and hubby Ben in a unique way. So she decided to rent a catamaran from La Cruz Sailing Charters in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. And what a fantastic decision it was! We spent a few hours on inland waters soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the beautiful scenery. This Wrightsville sailboat session was an actual dream come true!
We set sail along the Carolina waters. Emily and Ben on the bean bag chairs and watched as their boys, Cedric and Spartan, jumped and played on the ocean hammocks. The boys were having the time of their lives and even said they could live on the ocean, and they truly made the best little North Carolina pirates!
The catamaran ride was so breathtaking with the bluest hues and shimmering sunlight bouncing off the water. I could not recommend booking a sailboat for your session more! It was unique, fun and a memorable experience for the entire family.
After our sailboat adventure, we headed to the beach next where the boys chased each other in the sand. There were a few sand spur boo boos and some snuggles, but all was well again soon. Ben even went for a swim in the water while the boys splashed around! Throughout their session, Emily shared with me her family’s love for Jesus. Their relationships with the Lord was so evident in the words they spoke that it truly was a blessing to be around them.
This Wrightsville sailboat session was such a relaxing experience with sails and sand. The sound of the waves and the gentle breeze made for the perfect backdrop for their family session.
